A good library is the gateway to success said, Mr. Annadurai Director News, Prachar Bharathi, Divisional News Unit, Doordarshan Kendra Chennai on the 113th birthday day of Karmaveerar Kamarajar was celebrated at Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School located at Kasuva village on 10th July 2015.
He further added that Sevalaya is doing all the services about which he had meant to speak and he felt happy that he had gotten a chance to visit such an organization which is doing a wonderful service. Reading prescribed text books alone was not enough, but reading varied books from a library could widen his knowledge. He said, he was happy to note that Sevalaya has three libraries and expressed his hope that the students would make full use of the available facilities and develop their talents.
Also present at the function was retired Honorable Judge Mr. Mohanasundaram who celebrated his 75th birthday at Sevalaya today with all the residents here.
Earlier the children presented cultural and gifts were given to the staff who celebrated their birthday this month. The Chief Guest also released the manuscript of the children ‘Vidiyal’ and also gave shoes for the sports team which was sponsored by Lionbridge Technologies.
Earlier Mr. V Muralidharan (Founder and Managing trustee Sevalaya) welcomed the gathering and Mr. A A Kingston, Centre Head proposed the vote of thanks.
