At the State level Athletics championship-2017 held at T J S Matriculation School, Puduvayal our athletes won 26 medals, in various sports. A Rajan, SDAT Coach, Nehru stadium, Chennai presided over the event and gave away the medals. 600 athletes from 25 schools in four districts (Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Chennai, and Thiruvanamalai) participated in the event. The fistful of medals were won by just 12 athletes, each of whom participated in multiple events. Sevalaya athletes are sponsored by Lionbridge Technologies.
