On 4th March 2023, Science Day was celebrated at Sevalaya’s Kasuva Centre in remembrance of Sir C V Raman, an #Indianphysicist who made significant contributions to the field of science. Poo Ko Saravanan, Deputy Commissioner, Customs & Central Excise Dept, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India, was the Chief Guest. He shared inspiring stories of successful individuals such as Marie Currie, Scientist , Dr A P J AbdulKalam, Former President of India, Surabhi Goutham , IAS, Mylswamy Annadurai, Indian Scientist and Verghese Kurien, Founder of Amul Dairy. Earlier Sevalaya conducted science competitions in five government schools, and a total of 67 students participated. 37 winners received prizes from the hands of the Chief Guest. Dr K V Balasubramanian ,Retd. Meteorologist, Writer, Translator and P Meera, Donor of Sevalaya participated in the program.
