KONE Centennial Foundation and KONE Elevators India Private Limited sponsored 300 sanitation kits for the frontline workers, who are on
the field, exposed to risk in this pandemic.
These sanitation kits will be distributed in 8 districts – Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram,
Chengalpet, Thanjavur, Nilgiris, Tenkasi, and Puducherry.
Each kit consists of 10 face masks, 1 face shield, 2 sanitizers, 1 handwash.
Sevalaya is the implementation partner for this Covid 19 relief initiative, coordinating the
procurement and distribution of kits.
D Ragurajan, Inspector, Kadayam, Tenkasi, and C Annamalai, Village Administrator Officer
distributed the sanitation kits to frontline workers at Tenkasi on 1st June 2021.
On 31st May 2021 R Saikrishnan, BDO, Madurandagam and S Babu, Project Coordinator, Sevalaya distributed the
sanitation kits to frontline workers in and around Madurandagam.
