Give2Asia has sponsored groceries for 1200 families whose livelihoods have been affected by the COVID Pandemic. Sevalaya is the implementation partner.
Sevalaya is undertaking COVID 19 relief initiatives with support from philanthropic individuals/ institutions/ corporate.
On 27th July 2021, in association with Give2Asia Sevalaya distributed free grocery kits to 286 families affected by the pandemic in JJ Nagar, S.T area Palavakam Panchayat and in Sirunai, Thiruvallur District.
V Nagan, Panchayat President, Palavakkam, L S Suresh, Panchayat Councillor, and Sasidaran, Ex Panchayat Councillor distributed relief items to the affected families.
Each kit consists of 25 Kg of rice, and groceries including Toor Dhall, Rava, Wheat flour, idli rice, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper, and cumin seeds.
