Food distribution at Villupuram

Sevalaya with the support of many donors is planning to distribute 13,000 food packets to families whose livelihood has been affected by the COVID Pandemic.

Hunger has become a weapon of mass destruction and it claims millions of victims each year. Now this pandemic has added fuel to the fire.  Many homeless people from rural areas are the worst hit, as they depend on contributions and support from the general public and donors. This has dwindled during this pandemic period.

For the hungry, God comes in the form of food.  Hence Sevalaya has organized the distribution of food packets to the pandemic affected people at all its centres in Tamil Nadu and in  Puducherry,

On 2nd July 2021, Sevalaya staff distributed 1000 food packets to homeless people and brick kiln workers in and around Villupuram.

During this pandemic, Sevalaya has been engaging in many relief activities with the support of donors
