Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated with grandeur at Sevalaya campus situated at Kasuva, near Thirunindravur. Praveen Dev, (APAC, Assistant General Manager- HR, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Engineering India Pvt Ltd) presided over as the Chief Guest in the function.
Talking about Sevalaya, Praveen said, “I admire the services that Sevalaya renders to the society. It provides the holistic environment required to better educate the children”. Addressing the students, he asked them all to take up one ambition in life and work towards it; and abide by Vivekananda’s principle – ‘you become what you want to be’.
Sevalaya students exhibited their talent by taking part in cultural events like dancing and singing. Along with students and teachers, a lot of villagers from Kasuva village and parents of Sevalaya’s students took part in Diwali celebrations. New dress and sweets were distributed to all the students.
