India is reeling under the effect of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. With lacs of people getting infected every day, the country is facing an acute shortage of beds, oxygen supply, medicines, PPE kits, and medical equipment.
Sevalaya is making efforts to support the fight against pandemic. With the help of many individual donors, Sevalaya’s Samaritan Gramodharan Samithy at Gudalur has donated 1000 pairs of surgical gloves to the local Government hospital on 15th May 2021.
The gloves were handed over to Dr Pugazhendi, the
Chief Medical Officer of the hospital by S R Priyadharshini, the Centre Head of Sevalaya.
