Teachers from Sevalaya Receive Certification in Dyslexia Training
B Gajalakshmi and S Bhuvaneswari, teachers from Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School, Kasuva centre, received completion certificates from Madras Dyslexia Association on 8th July 2024.
They received their certificates from D Chandrasekar, President of the Madras Dyslexia Association, at the valedictory function held at Kodambakkam.
The 30-day training session, conducted in October 2023, included six weeks of theory sessions followed by an eight-week practical internship. The teachers learned about identifying dyslexia and strategies to support students with learning difficulties.
