Sevalaya Murali was felicitated and conferred with distinguished alumni award by Minister Periyakaruppan at a grand alumni reunion function held at New college on 8 Oct 2022 . Ex-central minister G K Vasan and other distinguished guests and alumni were also present at the occasion to celebrate the completion of 70years of New College.
Sevalaya Murali studied in New college from 1977 to 1981, before going to IISC Bangalore.
