Easter was celebrated at Sevalaya’s centre in Kasuva village on 4 Apr 2026.

Fr Ansel Antony, Correspondent – St Claret Matriculation School and S Antony Alwin, Proprietor – Mary Stores,
Pakkam graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Ansel Antony said, “I am very happy to visit your campus. To show love towards everyone, religion is irrelevant. All of us are brothers and sisters.

Bharathiyar, Gandhi and Vivekananda were the inspirations for your Founder to start Sevalaya. Bharathi wrote poems about Jesus Christ and also stressed the importance of living fearlessly. Jesus was an example of such a fearless life. Gandhi undertook Ahimsa to win independence, and Jesus’ sermons served as an inspiration to Gandhiji. Swami Vivekananda says that we will achieve what we seek sincerely.

He also said that he would have worshipped Jesus with blood from his heart if he had been alive during his time. People accused Jesus of many things, but he was a friend of the poor. He fought for the downtrodden. He took on our sins and died for us. He loved everyone on this earth like a parent.”

He concluded by advising students not to waste time, to make use of their talent, and to succeed in life. Earlier Revathi K, Head Mistress – Primary, Sevalaya welcomed the gathering and spoke about Sevalaya’s activities. Students presented engaging cultural performances. Sankarapandian A, Physical Director, Sevalaya delivered the Vote of Thanks. Mementos were presented to the Chief Guests.
