Page Pierre Foundation inaugurates various projects worth ₹1.25 Crores at Sevalaya’s centres in Tiruvallur and Gudalur

The inauguration of various projects completed with the financial assistance of Page Pierre Foundation, Switzerland was held at Sevalaya’s centre in Kasuva village near Thiruninravur, Tiruvallur on 11 Feb 2026.

Page Pierre and Professor Daniel Oyon of the Page Pierre Foundation were the Chief Guests. Friends and family members of Page Pierre and Professor Daniel Oyon also graced the occasion. Page Pierre Foundation has been helping to build basic infrastructure at Sevalaya for the past 17 years. Their support in 2025 to the tune of ₹1.25 Crores included painting of the boys’ and girls’ homes and dining hall, construction of a compound wall around the campus and a mobile solar plant in Kasuva, enhancements to Sevalaya’s Internal ERP system and reconstruction of the hospital and compound wall
at Gudalur.

The Chief Guests inaugurated these projects. Addressing the students in his speech, Page Pierre said they can learn many good things from Sevalaya. He advised students to make use of the opportunities provided at Sevalaya. The guests shared that every visit leaves them with fond memories, as they are welcomed by the smiling faces of Sevalaya children.

Sevalaya students presented a colourful cultural performance. The guests presented certificates to Sevalaya staff members who recently completed their Internal Audit training. Earlier, Sevalaya Murali, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, gave the welcome address and introduced Page Pierre and the guests to the students. He explained that their support has enabled Sevalaya’s activities over many years.

The guests gifted a giant, custom-made giant Toblerone chocolate bar, the renowned and iconic brand from Switzerland to the Sevalaya students. G Ramanathan, Trustee – Sevalaya in his Vote of Thanks said that Page Pierre was not only supporting
Sevalaya through funds, but also sharing his ideas for improvement that constantly enable Sevalaya to continue its growth journey every year.

Mementos were presented to the guests by Kala Rao, Member- Executive Committee, Sevalaya and Bhuvaneswari Muralidharan, Honorary Correspondent – Sevalaya. Earlier, the guests also visited Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Community College in Ambattur, Chennai that provides free skill development courses to underprivileged women and youth.
