Community College
Since 2011, Sevalaya has been running Community Colleges to create pathways to employment for rural youth and women, with little or no access to higher education. These Community Colleges offer free training in multiple trades and equip them with marketable skills.
These 3-6 month free courses include Tailoring, Nursing, Baking, Electrical, AC & Refrigeration, Lab Technician, Beautician, Computer Software, and Tally.
Beyond technical training, students are also taught soft skills such as interview etiquette and functional English. Strong industry linkages ensure practical exposure through guest lectures, industrial visits, and internships, culminating in placement opportunities.
