Sevalaya’s Annual Science Exhibition was inaugurated at Kasuva centre on
13 Aug 2025. The students presented various models on the theme of the year 2025,
‘International Year of Peace and Trust,’ chosen by the United Nations. Rajan Bala
Venkatesan, CFO, LatentView Analytics, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and
inaugurated the exhibition. During the event, he also presented a cheque worth
₹47,52,435 for higher education scholarships for 42 Sevalaya students. In addition
to Sevalaya students, students from Government School, Vengal, St Claret Matriculation
Higher Secondary School, Tiruninravur, and Angel Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, Tiruninravur, brought their models and displayed them at the exhibition.
Speaking at the event, Venkatesan said, “Following my usual routine of going to work and
returning home, this was a refreshing and joyful change for me. Sevalaya is functioning in
various forms like education, health, and old age homes. I will definitely do my best
to help in the future. From the models designed on the theme of peace and hope and the
students’ explanations, one can understand the hard work behind this exhibition. This
is not done even in schools in urban areas. One day, I wish to come with my daughter and
spend time with the Sevalaya children.” Poornima Shankar, HR Manager, said, “I can feel that
the number of students scoring high marks is increasing every year. Similarly, I can
feel that this year, compared to last year, the students have a clear idea of what they
want to study. You should study abroad as it will help the children who come after you
come with confidence and courage.” P Srinivasan, Secretary, said, “If you study well and
score good marks, Sevalaya and LatentView Analytics will work together to help you study
the course of your choice. Like girls, boys should also avoid hesitation and come forward
in everything.” Earlier, V Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, welcomed
the gathering and spoke about the activities of Sevalaya and LatentView Analytics and
informed that Sevalaya’s students are provided training for entrance exams such as JEE and
NEET.Students presented engaging cultural performances. R Jeevendran, Chemistry Teacher, Sevalaya, delivered the Vote of Thanks. Mementos were presented to all the Guests.
