Sevalaya Teachers Attend ‘Awakening Facilitators Development’ Workshop by VIVA
On 29th June 2024, 15 teachers of Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School, Kasuva centre, attended the “Awakening Facilitators Development” workshop conducted by Vivekananda Institute of Values (VIVA).
Vrindha, volunteer and chief resource person, guided the workshop by briefing the participants about the aim of the programme, the methodology followed, and the impact created so far.
S Ma Ramanan, Resource Person from VIVA, led the session by sharing techniques on how to orate stories in a way that makes them more interesting, focusing on the values and morals to be delivered to the students.
This programme aims to inculcate values by prompting children to think and arrive at conclusions on their own. The programme will be implemented for the primary school children at Sevalaya.
