Organic farming
Sevalaya runs an organic farm at its Kasuva centre and its centre in Thirumalaivaiyavur, Chengalpattu. The fresh vegetables produced are used at Sevalaya’s kitchens. Gaushalas provide organic manure for the farms. Surrounding villages and students from the Agriculture stream at the school learn hands-on techniques at the farms.

Tribal Welfare
Sevalaya regularly distributes ration kits and house building materials to tribal communities living in hamlets around Gudalur, Nilgiris, ensuring their well-being.
RO PLANTS & CLEAN TOILETS :
Sevalaya’s rural development initiatives that provide quality infrastructure such as RO Plants, Community Halls, Community Toilets and CCTVs have benefited over 1.02 lakh people in 580+ villages.
Impact:
- Sevalaya centres in Kasuva, Thanjavur and Dharmapuri, are equipped with solar panels, providing clean energy to meet the daily energy requirements
