On 2 March 2022 oratorical competitions were conducted for the school students at Chennai Book Fair 2022 at YMCA grounds, Nandanam.
At the competitions organised by the Booksellers and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI), students from 35 schools participated. Geethalakshmi of Std VIII of Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School won the II Prize of books worth ₹1500. Books worth ₹500 each was awarded as a consolation prize to Vilasini of Std VIII and Thembavani of Std X.
Vice Principal of Pachaiyappa’s College and BAPASI executive committee members distributed certificates and appreciated the students.
