BNY Mellon sponsored medical equipment worth Rs 7 Lakhs for Government Stanley Hospital, Chennai. Sevalaya coordinated the procurement, transportation, and distribution of the equipment.
On 8th July 2021, Dr D Vidya, India Lead, Global Impact Citizenship, BNY Mellon, handed over the two-door freezer, Remi centrifuge Rotor R 41 and Remi Cytocentrifuge to Dr A Jamila, MD, Vice Principal, Stanley Government Medical College and Hospital. Ashok Kumar L, AVP Operations, Sevalaya, were present at the occasion.
In collaboration with Sevalaya, BNY Mellon has executed COVID 19 relief projects worth Rs 50 lacs for Stanley Government Hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu in both the first wave and the present second wave.
