Vishay Precision Group of Companies (VPG) has contributed towards purchase of Oxygen Concentrators for Government hospitals in Tamil Nadu which are in dire need of oxygen for treating the COVID 19 patients.
Sevalaya coordinated the procurement and distribution of the Oxygen Concentrators.
On 10th June 2021, A Baskar, HR Manager, VPG, C Senthil, safety Officer, VPG, and I Bakgiyarajan, Associate Vice President, Operations, Sevalaya handed over the Oxygen Concentrators to Maheshwari Ravikumar, District Collector Kancheepuram.
These oxygen concentrators will be put to use immediately at the Government General Hospital at Kancheepuram.
The second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic is causing havoc and there is a huge demand for oxygen in all hospitals. Sevalaya is engaged in relief activities with the support of philanthropic individuals, associations and corporates.
