Several Sevalaya staff volunteered at Indian Bank and State Bank branches in Thiruninravur, 18th November 2016 onwards by helping out in filling forms to exchange ₹ 500 and ₹ 1000 notes. This was an impromptu gesture and was very well appreciated by the people who had queued up as well the bank staff, who were particularly under stress during the initial days of the demonetisation.
