Karthigai Dheepam was celebrated on 4 Dec 2025 at Sevalaya’s Kasuva Centre, near Thiruninravur,Tiruvallur.
Sevalaya alumnus G Sathish, participated along with his family and graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the event. Speaking on the occasion, he advised the students to work hard, stay united, pursue a promising career and achieve success. He encouraged them to return to Sevalaya later in life, just as he had come back now. As part of the birthday celebrations for his daughter, he distributed chocolates, cakes and pens to Sevalaya children. Students presented engaging cultural performances.
Earlier, V Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, welcomed the gathering and spoke about the wide range of Sevalaya’s activities. S Mariyammal, Teacher, Sevalaya delivered the Vote of Thanks. A memento was presented to the Chief
Guest by Kingston A A, VP- Development, Sevalaya. The evening concluded with children bursting crackers and marking the occasion with joy.
