As part of its CSR activities, EXL Service undertook a beach cleaning activity at Vasco da Gama beach, Kochi on 22 Nov 2025. Sevalaya, as the implementation partner, coordinated the activity. 110 employees from EXL, 20 NSS volunteers from St Paul’s College, local volunteers and Sevalaya staff members enthusiastically participated in the drive.
Susan Paul- VP, EXL, Lijo Joseph- Secretary- DTPC, Kochi (Ministry of Tourism), Miruthula Muralidharan – AVP, EXL, Sudhir Mathews – AVP, EXL, Ravikumar- DTO, Ernakulam District (Ministry of Tourism) and Ranjith- CDO, Rajagiri College were present on the occasion.
500 kgs of plastic and non-biodegradable waste and 5000 kgs of biodegradable waste was collected during the drive. The effort helps improve coastal hygiene, enhance the natural appearance of the beach and contribute to safer conditions for marine life. This initiative also supported long-term environmental sustainability by reducing pollution levels along the coast.
