Christmas and Quality Month was celebrated on 25 Dec 2025 at Sevalaya’s Kasuva village campus near Thiruninravur, Tiruvallur. K T Srinivasa Raja, Managing Director, Adyar Ananda Bhavan Sweets India Pvt Ltd graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with his wife, Anandhi.
Speaking on the occasion, he said “Born into a farming family, I have struggled for food during times of poverty. I wish there had been a Sevalaya to support me then. I see Sevalaya as a heavenly place. We haven't seen the three great leaders who inspired Sevalaya, but we are living on the same earth where they lived. I see Muralidharan as the embodiment of all three of them. The reason for my success is my hard work and the blessings of my parents. We will do everything we can to support Sevalaya.” he said. He went on to add, “You, the dear students living in this heavenly place, must do the following:remain peaceful, focus on your goals, maintain physical and mental health, never abandon your parents, never underestimate your own worth and most of all, work together so that everyone gets everything they need.”
Anandhi in her speech said, “Service to humanity is service to God. I think one needs to have good fortune to be able to serve others. I am very happy to have the friendship of Muralidharan sir, who is rendering great service. The children here have a good community in which they grow up. May God continue to bless Sevalaya and enable it to continue its services even further.”
Earlier, as part of the Quality Month celebrations, competitions such as quiz, photography, poster making, slogan writing and Kaizen presentations were held under the theme “Quality for All, By All” 115 Sevalaya staff members participated in these events. Three staff members who excelled in each competition were awarded by the Chief Guest. During the event, training and evaluation certificates were also presented to Sevalaya’s internal auditors. Silver coins were presented to employees who completed their work anniversary this month. The monthly magazine “Vidiyal” handcrafted by the students, was also released on the occasion. Navin Kumar, Associate Vice President, Donor Relations, Sevalaya presented Sevalaya’s project proposal to the Chief Guest.
Students presented engaging cultural performances. The venue was decorated and adorned for the festive occasion. The gathering erupted in joy as Santa Claus entered the hall. The special Christmas cake made by Sevalaya’s Community College bakery unit was cut and distributed to all the children.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Sevalaya’s Founder and Managing Trustee V Muralidharan explained Sevalaya's activities and stated that the reason children from the surrounding areas,who were previously working in brick kilns, were now working as doctors and engineers because of the quality education provided by Sevalaya. Anupriya L N, Head- Quality, Sevalaya delivered the Vote of Thanks. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest.
