18 Sevalaya Students get Admission under Sports Quota In Nazareth College of Arts and Science, Avadi

On 15th May 2024, the valedictory function for the summer camp on Spoken English and
computer training for students was held at Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary
School in Kasuva centre, Thiruninravur.
Dr. E Marie Angeline Santhosam, Principal and Sustainability Educator at Nazareth College of
Arts And Science in Avadi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her speech, Dr. Angeline
emphasized the importance of finding one's purpose, working hard, and achieving success in
life, while praising Sevalaya for instilling service-mindedness from the heart rather than through
training.
Sevalaya Charity has been providing free education through its school for 36 years, with over
2200 students currently enrolled.
Not only in academics but also in sports, Sevalaya students have participated in district
and state-level competitions, securing medals. 18 students who passed their Std XII
examinations, released on 6th May 2024, have been awarded 100% free higher education
and hostel admission under the sports quota at Nazareth College of Arts and Science.
A total of 75 students participated in the one-month special summer camp, with special prizes
awarded to those who excelled.
