SPi global Mr P Sathish, Deputy Manager HR, visited Sevalaya and handed over. Cheque for Rs. 3.47 Lakhs towards construction of kitchen shed adjacent to the dining room. The shed will provide covered place for the kitchen vessels to be washed, thereby improving the hygiene of the kitchen. About 1400 residents, students, staff take free food everyday in Sevalaya’s kitchen and all of them would be benefited by this gesture of SPi global.
SPi global will also be supporting 63 children with education sponsorships, for Rs. 5.04 Lakhs for a period of one year. This would help Sevalaya to provide quality education for the students.
SPi global employees also volunteer one day in a year, wherein we had about 400 employees visited Sevalaya and provided 2400 man hours of volunteering help by participating in various activities like Organic Farming, Gardening, Cleaning the Homes, Library Book entry etc and conducting varied activities and giving away prizes for the children.
