Sevalaya does not believe in imparting a passive form of education and children are encouraged to participate in numerous extracurricular and club activities. One such club children enjoy is the Social club which select a new theme every year around which the yearly activities are centered.
This year’s Social club was inaugurated on 26th June 2015 by Zoe Abott and Victor Mignot volunteers from The United Kingdom and Switzerland respectively. They shared details of the lifestyle and culture of their countries with the members of the club. This year the theme of the club is “ Cheran, Chozhan and Pandian”. The children will learn about these great kingdoms – their culture ,agricultural methods, life style and trade.
