Sevalaya ‘s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary school has again achieved an excellent results in X standard public examination, by securing 98% pass results. Sevalaya educates poor and downtrodden only. Out of 136 students appeared, 133 have come through successfully. The top scorer is R.Mohan, has secured 484/500, followed by N.Pradeepa (466/500) and S.Hariprasad (464/500), second and third respectively. A point to be highlighted is that all in Sevalaya hail from very poor family background, deprived of any help to study. Students from 40 backward villages avail Sevalaya’s free education and study well.
