With the festival season upon us, Sevalaya started off the ‘joy of giving’ week at Grand mall, on Saturday October 1, 2016. The ‘wishes of the children’ were attached to the branches of a wish tree at the mall. There were a lot of footfalls and the visitors to the mall contributed enthusiastically to the cause.
October 3rd and October 4, saw Sevalaya reach out to the public sector like Indian Oil Corporation and Aavin milk parlour to set up wish trees, seva products and hundials. The responses from children were exciting and they lined up to take pictures with happy dots. The response from private sector was overwhelming. Sevalaya set up booths with wish trees in L&T Infotech, and Capgemini. The employees opened up their wallets and contributed liberally. Other institutions like CAMS and Wabag also permitted Sevalaya to sell their line of products like bags and other curios.
We are sure the next few days will be joyous, as well.
