Sevalaya celebrated Gandhi jayanthi in a meaningful manner on 5th october 2015, in it campus. True to the Mahathma Gandhiji’s ideal, Sevalaya has been educating rural poor. In fact this has been the flagship project of Sevalaya. They are given value added education for the continual improvement throughout the educational career. Accordingly, Sevalaya conducted open book examination on state level for the students from Chennai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Vizhupuram, Pudukottai and Thiruvallur. 22 students won prizes. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Easwar Prasad, Head Near Product Division, Ericson Ltd. The chief guest Mr. Easwar Prasad, expressed his happiness in participating the function and advised the students to emirate Gandhiji’s life and teachings.
