Sevalaya conducts free medical camp for villagers

Sevalaya conducts medical camps regularly to the residents as well as the surrounding villages. We also conduct specialized camps occasionally based on the requirements. The rural community does not have access to good quality medical care. They cannot afford medical expenses and travelling all the way to the city to get diagnosed is another major difficulty. Our medical camps have been a great blessing to the rural community by helping them meet their immediate medical need. Sevalaya organized an eye camp benefitting 78 rural people in the pakkam and kasuva villages. This was sponsored by Quaid-E-Milleth college NSS volunteers in association with MN Eye hospital. Preliminary eye tests were conducted by a qualified ophthalmologist and patients with issues were referred for further treatment.
