Sevalaya children welcome Tamil New Year

Sevalaya celebrated Tamil New Year day with fervour and enthusiasm. The year is named “Durmugi”. The beginning of the year also marks the start of spring season and therefore the celebration is meant to welcome the important season.

Dr T Valanthi Varthini, Primary Health Center, Puliyur, Thiruvallur District, Tamil nadu, India participated as chief guest.  During her speech she blessed the children and asked to avail all the opportunities provided by Sevalaya in their education and career.

Mr K Selvam, District Health Inspector, said that Sevalaya has been extending excellence services to community and wish the organization to continue.

M/s SHELL employees packed groceries about 6000 Kgs of Rice and Dhal items for 1500 flood affected families thru Sevalaya and it was distributed.

Another highlight of the function was that Sevalaya’s Annual Activity Calendar 2016 – 2017 was released by Mr K Srinivasan, Panchayet (Civic local body) President. Earlier Mr V Muralidharan, Founder and Managing trustee, Sevalaya welcomed the gathering.
