Join hands to Save our Environment ….
On 5th June 2015, Sevalaya celebrates world environmental day in its Campus located at Kasuva village near Thiruninravur. The chief guest Mrs. Sasikala, Health Inspector, Puliyur Primary Health Centre. She said that every human has the duty to protect the environment and they should also share this with their neighbours and friends so that there will be a transformation in the society’s attitude towards environment protection. The children were also asked to take care of their environment by not burning waste, avoiding stagnation of water, saving water etc. She also inaugurated the Eco Club of School.
The Chief Guest also flagged off a rally from the school to the nearby villages in and around Kasuva spreading messages of saving the environment.
Tree saplings were planted in and around the school on the occasion.
Earlier Mrs. Mariammal, Academics Headmistress welcomed the gathering and B.Nirmala, Bharathi Unit Head proposed the Vote of thanks.
