Sevalaya were declared the overall champion in the Bhumi Nakshatra competitions held at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, West Tambaram. Sevalaya students romped home with prizes in various art competitions. Out of the 22 events the 31 strong team participated, Sevalaya won prizes in 20 events. Out of these 14 were first prizes. 60 organisations participated in the competitions. Boys won gold in Volleyball, Chess and Silver in 4 X 100 relay. Girls won gold in Throwball, Tennikoit and 4 X 100 relay. Sevalaya won the Overall championship for the seventh year in a row.
