15th August is a day of celebration fun and social causes at Sevalaya. This year, we had a bevy of activities at the campus. The flag hoisting was done by Mr. Thomson, Manager, Public affairs and commission, Coca-Cola Hindustan Beverages, Chennai. He expressed his happiness to participate in the function and asked the students to make the best use of the facilities available at Sevalaya to further their careers. Coca-Cola also donated 75 blankets for the hostel students. The programme was followed by a blood camp hosted at the campus by the Alumni of the school and Indian Red cross society, Thiruvallur. Thirty eight students and staff participated in the event and it was a grand success. Sports competitions were also held for the staff. Handball, four corners and cricket. About 80 staff members from the campus and city office participated.
