Each year more than a hundred and fifty girl students, studying in Sevalaya, appear for the Board exams. Each one of them come from very challenging economic and social backgrounds, and are first generation school goers. At Sevalaya, they are given extra tuition classes during the evenings and holidays to prep them for their Board exams. Not surprisingly, the pass results over the past few years have been 100% or bordering 100%.
Each year, just before exams, Sevalaya staff bring the students, with their exam hall tickets, to the local temple to seek the Almighty’s blessings and wishes.
