On 28th August 2015, Karuna club members visited Sevalaya campus and conducted various programmes for 60 students of Sevalaya. B. G. Saravan, Natrajan, Adhithyan, C. Appandai Raj spoke about the care for animals and that should be commenced at school age. They covered 4 areas that included animal’s welfare, prevention of cruelly to animals, quiz program on human Values. They also spoke about Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s life and why he changed into vegetarian & importance of being vegetarian. He also insisted in eating organic products and raising as a vegetarian is essential for one’s extended healthy life. They conducted Quiz Program for the students and the students were awarded for their achievements in quiz. They also spoke about the golden words of Mahakavi Bharathiyar “Anna Sathiram” that wins be worthy to teach poor boy. So as V.Muralidaharan made to start this institution and to work for educating rural poor children.
