On 7th August 2015, Saveetha School of Engineering from Saveetha University organized an Electricity safety awareness program for Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar School. The Engineering students explained the fundamental concepts of Electricity and methods of Energy conservation. They explained types of injuries caused by unsafe usage of electricity and how to give first aid when injuries occur. Sevalaya’s Higher secondary students attended this training program. They will be able to use what they have learned in this program.
