BNY Mellon volunteers do yeoman service at the campus

Twenty seven volunteers from BNY Mellon landed up at Sevalaya campus in two shifts to plant trees, distribute snacks to the students and catalogue books in the library. The morning session saw 14 volunteers pull up their sleeves and plant fruit bearing saplings in the campus and distribute snacks (a fruit and biscuit packet) to the students at school. The afternoon batch of 13 volunteers went to the library to assist in cataloguing and perform data entry work to streamline the books in the library. The volunteers from BNY Mellon are regulars and they have accomplished a great deal in the past three months. We thank BNY Mellon for their assistance and the volunteers for their tireless work, in bringing about a change to the environment and to the children in the campus.
